Welcome to the Higher Power Ministries website. Our ministry started in 1996 in Central Iowa with the purpose of helping people know and follow Jesus by sharing His story through songs and personal testimonies. Higher Power is a quartet that sings southern Gospel, traditional, progressive, and a cappella style songs at church services, community events, and other special events. Current members include Steve Mickelson (bass), Jeff Overton (lead), Brett Rickabaugh (high tenor), and Jeff Worsham (baritone). Let us know if we can partner with you for your next special event. 2025 Project
We recorded our 2025 project at Waveform Music www.waveformmusic.com in Des Moines, Iowa! Go to our Store page to order our new project, "My Jesus, My Song". Look for our 2026 recording project to come out later this spring.
